This Thursday, October 6th Dance Exchange Resident Artist Sarah Levitt is performing a solo show at Jackie’s Sidebar called Rest Easy. It’s a take-off on Hammock, the work she premiered in collaboration with choreographer Benjamin Wegman in early September at the Kennedy Center (Missed it? You can watch it here.) This performance is part of Dan$e and Drink$, a new series featuring performances by local dance companies in which 10% of the day’s proceeds go to the participating company. What this means: Drinking + eating at Sidebar = $ for Dance Exchange. Awesome!  The event runs from 9-11pm, and the performance begins at 9:30pm.
